KYOTOGRAPHIE KG+ にて、「JAPAN PHOTO AWARD + INTUITION | 2024」を開催いたします。
KG+とは、これから活躍が期待される写真家やキュレーターの発掘と支援を目的に、2013年よりスタートしたアートフェスティバルです。KG+はKYOTOGRAPHIE 京都国際写真祭と連携し、同時期に開催することで国際的に活躍する写真家やアーティスト、国内外のキュレーター、ギャラリストとの出会いの場と国際的な情報発信の機会を提供します。
JAPAN PHOTO AWARDとは、世界に向けて新しい才能を発信することを目的に2013年に設立されたアワードです。審査員は、世界の第一線で活躍するエディター、キュレーターを招聘し、世界を志す熱意有る方たちに挑戦の機会を提供します。本アワードの受賞者達は、写真集の出版、美術館での個展、国際的なファッションブランドとのコラボレーション等、着実に実績を残し活躍の場を世界に広げています。
本展では2024年度の受賞作品を始め、未だ見ぬ新しい才能を世界に送り出す”INTUITION”展を 同時開催いたします。是非、ご高覧くださいませ。

We are pleased to announce the presentation of "JAPAN PHOTO AWARD + INTUITION | 2024" at KYOTOGRAPHIE KG+.
KG+ is an art festival inaugurated in 2013 with the objective of discovering and supporting photographers and curators who are anticipated to make significant contributions in the future. By collaborating with the KYOTOGRAPHIE International Photography Festival, KG+ creates opportunities for international photographers, artists, curators, and gallerists from both Japan and abroad to meet and exchange information on a global scale.
The JAPAN PHOTO AWARD, established in 2013, aims to showcase new talents to the world. The judging panel consists of editors and curators working at the forefront of the global art scene, providing ambitious individuals with the opportunity to challenge themselves. Award recipients have gone on to achieve notable success, including publishing photo books, holding solo exhibitions at museums, and collaborating with internationally renowned fashion brands.
This exhibition will feature the award-winning works from 2024, as well as the concurrent "INTUITION" exhibition, which seeks to introduce undiscovered talents to the world. We cordially invite you to attend.
